One of my all time FAVORITE stores for brides is BHLDN. If you haven’t heard of them then get over to their site right now! They have wedding dresses, heels, jewelry, lingerie, decor, and the list just goes on and on! Here are a few little gems I picked out – enjoy ♥

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. Always remembering and praying for those who lost loved ones – my heart goes out to all of you.

This is a super cute engagement session I shot awhile back in downtown Tulsa, OK. Today I was in the mood for a little throwback and thought this was just perfect. I love when I get circular sun flare!

Savvy brides these days are thinking more outside the box than ever before when it comes to what their wedding & wedding backdrop will look like! So what is exactly am I talking about? Well, say goodbye to old 80′s columns and tulle (yuck!) and say hello to some really unique and beautiful trends below. What do you think?!!

1.) Wood doors that open up to the “ceremony room”. Guests sit on hay bales that are covered by pretty cloth.
2.) Peach & white cupcake liners strung together and used as a gorgeous (and unique) backdrop.
3.) Wood strung together with small jars of flowers hanging from them.
4.) Tall curtains hanging from trees with a huge chandelier in the center of the “arch”.
5.) Large wooden wall with a walkway. A chandelier and dresser are in the center to complete the look.
6.) Huge chalkboard with writing on it.
7.) The “entrance” to the ceremony and part of the #5 display.
8.) Writing, a poem, favorite song, etc on a large roll of fabric that is hanging (could also be held up by a stand).
9.) These are actual receipt paper strung together to create a larger than life chandelier! This one is my personal fave.
10.)Fabric drawn to the side to create gorgeous curtains that serves as an “entrance” or “exit” to your wedding.
11.) Different sized pieces of fabric strung together to create a gorgeous effect. All of this is hanging from a stand.
12.) Burlap pieces of fabric strung thru trees to create a stunning backdrop.
